With Mother’s Day just around the corner, and a gift already purchased I set out yesterday to design a special Mother’s Day card. I am so blessed to have both a mother and mother-in-law who know and faithfully serve the Lord, so I wanted to design something that would celebrate them. Nothing can really even begin to show how much I appreciate these two women. They constantly amaze me, and I have so much yet to learn from them! Feel free to print and share this card with the lovely mothers in your life!

Spring Shopping (Wish) List
I have a confession to make. It has been a long while since I’ve been shopping, and the clothes in my closet are looking a little worse-for-the-wear. I am not usually the best at shopping for clothes. Sure, I am great at finding sales, and pretty good at shopping for my body type. But I have never had a real vision in terms of my wardrobe, and I’ve never been great at shopping strategically to fill in the gaps. Since I’m going to have to be super thrifty in updating my wardrobe this time around, I knew I needed to make a plan. So here it is, my spring shopping (wish) list for 2012 - much thanks to pinterest. Now I just need to get shopping…wish me luck!
As I study scripture and journey towards the cross during Lent, I will be creating and sharing some free scripture posters. I hope these will be an encouragement to someone out there. Feel free to post, share & print to your heart’s content.
To get the PDF version, click HERE. Then just “save as” to your computer to use however you please. Credit back to psalm27creative is always appreciated. Enjoy!
Blessings at Lent & always,
Mary Clark

…Run in such a way as to get the prize” (1 Corinthians 9:24, NIV).
Oftentimes, when we have a dream in our heart, we start off strong. We head down the path toward our goal, and we’re so excited! But along the way, we hit some roadblocks and encounter some adversity. Many times, people will just give up and take the easy way out. But we have to remember, it’s not how we start that counts; it’s how we finish. Anybody can be fired up at the beginning, but I’m encouraging you to stick with it until the end! Have the determination to go all the way through. Don’t stop at the halfway mark just because times are tough. Don’t quit because you don’t see anything happening. The scripture tells us not to walk by sight, but to walk by faith.
Today, if there’s a dream in your heart, something you’re believing for—a relationship to turn around, a business opportunity or to overcome an addiction—keep pursuing it! Run your race to win the prize! Don’t settle until you see the fullness of what God has placed in your heart. As you stand strong in your faith, I believe God will pour out His favor and blessing upon you, and you will see the victory He has in store for you!
What a great word of encouragement!
